ADVICE IS FREE - These are the reasons you need it:

  1. HMRC and DWP use AI to determine employers' risk rankings for enquiries and inspections.

  2. An inspection or enquiry is costly, and is not included in the fee.

  3. Don't get into trouble just because you weren't aware of the rules.

  4. If we see something you might be doing incorrectly, we'll chat with you and see if a better way can be found.

  5. We see ourselves as avuncular - someone watching out for you.

What Triggers an HMRC Inspection, Enquiry or Investigation:

  1. A complaint by a disgruntled employee or ex-employee. 

  2. Late submissions of your VAT can even trigger a PAYE enquiry.​

  3. Late RTI submissions.

  4. Late payments to HMRC.

  5. Late submission or payments to your pension provider.

  6. Routine - although if you don't put your head above the parapet, you're less likely to get a routine inspection.
